Rededication of the USA to God
Father,
You promise: "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord". (Psalm 33:12)
We thank You and praise You
for making the USA the number one nation in the world. We recognize this is because our founding fathers followed Jesus
Christ. (2 Chronicles 15:2)
We covenant the United States of America to You, for You are the USA's God
and we are Your people. (2 Corinthians 6:17-18. 2 Chronicles 15)
Search us and show us what our sins are. We turn
from all sin and follow Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. (Psalm 139:23-24, 2 Chronicles 7:14)
We ask for liberty
and unity, and for You to heal our land and to protect our sovereignty. You are our hope. We trust in You. (Nahum 1:7,
Psalm 147:11, Jeremiah 32:17)
We ask You for a United States of America who loves You and loves one another as
Jesus loved us. (Mark 12:30, John 13:34)
We ask You to fill our families, communities, schools, courts and government
with Your Word, the Holy Bible. (Psalm 119:160)
As our First Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court, John Jay, urged:
"It is [our] duty - as well as privilege and interest - of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for [our]
rulers." In agreement, we ask You for the most Christ-like government, courts and schools we have ever had, effective
immediatley. (Proverbs 13:34, Mark 8:34)
We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
How People and Churches are Getting Involved
Many
are also fasting every Wednesday, and then on Thursday the week of May 7th for the USA to build on the rock of God’s Word and not sand as Jesus taught us. This fasting is also for a shift in the
hearts of Americans to put their trust in God to help the nation in our crisis.
