1. Set a specific purpose
2. Forgive Everyone
And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may
also forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.

3. Believe God will answer you
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe
that you receive them, and you will have them. Mark 11:24

- Ezra fasted for direction (Ezra 8:21-23)

- Don't hurt your body, drink liquids when fasting
- Longer fasts should include some food that gives your necessary health requirements
- Fasting should be done based
on your desire and your physical health

Bible Verses on Prayer and Fasting "Now,

as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible
for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting." Matthew 17: 18-21 Then I proclaimed a fast there at the river of Ahava, that we might humble
ourselves before our God, to seek from Him the right way for us and our little ones and all our possessions. For I was ashamed
to request of the king an escort of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy on the road, because we had spoken
to the king, saying, "The hand of our God is upon all those for good who seek Him, but His power and His wrath are
against all those who forsake Him." So we fasted and entreated our God for this, and He answered our prayer. Ezra 8:21-23
