Is there Honesty in Congress?
Eighty-three percent (83%) of U.S. voters
say legislation should be posted online in final form and available for everyone to read before Congress votes on it, Rasmussen
reported September 30th. Most people thought Congress should post bills for two weeks before voting. Proverbs
18:1 warns: "A man who isolates himself seeks his own desire". If we take the supposed "healthcare"
bill as an example, we find that reviewing the bill exposed
numerous dangers, such as rationing, imprisonment, fines, abortions, removal of freedom, possible Constitutional
breaches, etc.... This means that those in Congress,
Barack Obama, Joe Biden and the judicial system who push nationalized healthcare
are either not reading the bill, or they are intentionally ignoring the Constitutional restrictions upon government, and seeking
to destroy our society. Such people (for example: Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid...) are not qualified for government office. The popular Tea Parties show that Americans across the country want those corrupt in government to be fired, or to resign. Please demand
that your corrupt representatives resign immediately. Biblical Answers to Government CorruptionAs a Christian nation, we have higher standards of integrity and Christian love than do ungodly nations. The
Bible forbids voting for the wicked who hate the Lord. In fact, if you vote for ungodly people, like Barack Obama,
Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton... who break God's laws, then the wrath of God will be upon you (2 Chronicles 19:2). Almost all of our government servants claim to be Christians as the USA is a Christian nation. Since God commands us to "put away from yourselves that wicked person" - those who claim to be Christians but live ungodly lives (1 Corinthians 5:13),
it is our responsibility to remove them from office.
Also, God commands the
USA to not walk in the counsel of the unrighteous
(Psalm 1). Since the EU and other worldly groups oppose God by promoting sins like abortion, homosexuality, going in massive debt, etc..., the USA today must separate itself from these ungodly influences. Like our founding fathers, we must stand
and oppose corruption and ungodliness at the highest levels.
God is clear:
As we follow God's commands in the Holy Bible, the USA will be blessed again. If we disobey, then Scripture promises the USA
will be cursed, like we see with the financial and integrity crises (Deuteronomy 28). It is time to repent and obey God's commands. Read the book of Galatians and Deuteronomy 28
