82% of the USA believes
Jesus is the Son of God who came to earth and died for our sins, a Rasmussen April poll shows.
This means 82% of
the USA likely believes John 3:16, which assures, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that
whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
Other recent polls show:
80% of Americans say they are Christians, and
The majority of Americans believe that the USA is a
Christian nation.
Looking at the rich Aerican Christian beliefs, we see that Americans have always believed the
USA is a Christian nation, as the majority of Americans do today. In fact, our Supreme Court ruled "This is a Christian
nation" in the decision of the Church of the Holy Trinity v. United States, 1892. And, the first thing the
Jamestown settlers did when they landed in Virginia was to place a seven foot cross on America and pray dedicating America
to God.
