Times poll shows true marriage support rising sharply across the USA. The poll shows at a minimum 62% and as high as 67% of
Americans only want men and women to marry. Slipping 9 points since the previous poll, only 33% think homosexuals are
to "marry".
Some have said the rise for true marriage popularity is because
of a backlash by Americans who feel betrayed by those in government who, against the desire of Americans, have forced
homsoexual "licenses to marry" in Iowa, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. America's founding fathers forbade homosexuality.
With a separately written contract
bewteen two homosexuals, there is no need for homosexuals to have "licenses to marry". The contract can contain
the terms they desire, one governor recently explained.
"America wants man-woman marriage. We are bothered
that some government representatives and judges have betrayed the people, our founding fathers and God. Those forcing
homosexuality on America against the people should be removed from office for no confidence. Think of the money wasted by
the government and the division caused", said one person.
Pastors warn the reason for true marriage
is because that is what God says. It is that simple. Satan's lie to Eve was: "Has God indeed said..." (Genesis 3:1).
The Bible is filled with good news, and shows all sinners, including homosexuals, can repent and be made new. 1 Corinthians
6:11 promises that the name of Jesus Christ and the Spirit of God washes homosexuals in the new birth. In Christian conversion,
people become free from the power of the sin of homosexuality. They can live holy lives now, if they are willing. The
verse reads: And such were
some of you. But you were washed,
but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.
Romans 1:24-31 is recommended as a text to read. It reveals the causes of homosexuality
and other sins. Read this in your Bible when you have time.
